As Prince George turns one year old, we take a look at how brands are celebrating the news.

The birth last year led to a host of brands jumping on the bandwagon, from Mumm champagne to George at Asda and Jelly Babies.

Similar to last year, some brands who took to Twitter do have a baby connection – or a name connection.

Others, however, don’t have so much of a connection (unless corporal punishment is part of royal baby-hood).

Nevertheless, there were some good nods to the young Prince.

Some brands clearly felt like they should do something…but hadn’t remembered it was the birthday of their future leader until they came into work this morning.

Others had already marked a milestone for the Prince a few days earlier so didn’t think they needed to take part.
