Goodby Silverstein & Partners has hired creative duo Danny Gonzalez and David Suarez to work on the agency’s Corona Light and Modelo accounts, among others.

Rather unusually, to mark their arrival and welcome them to San Francisco, the agency has pledged to give away 100 ‘Danny Gonzalez and David Suarez are moving to San Francisco to work at Goodby Silverstein & Partners!!!’ drink cozies.

“The limited-edition cozies are both informational and functional, keeping your drinks cool for the remainder of the summer. (Except in San Francisco, where it’s freezing all summer and drinks stay cold on their own — but let’s not tell Danny and Dave that, shall we?),” said the agency, asking people to email the dedicated dannyanddavidarecoming@gspsf.com email address to claim a cozy.

On a more slightly more serious note, fellow GS&P creative director, Eric Kallman, said the agency was glad to have convinced them to move to San Francisco.

“Working with them again will be like putting on a really comfortable pair of jeans, but jeans that also surprise you, impress you and make you laugh. So, basically, way better than jeans. I think you get the gist of what I’m trying to communicate here.”

Meanwhile, Gonzalez said he was excited to join the agency but equally thrilled at the prospect of taking a ‘haunted Alcatraz’ tour.
