Irn-Bru claims Scots have 'IRN in our Blood' in new Commonwealth Games ad

Irn Bru, an official sponsor of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, has released ‘IRN in our blood’, a new advert to support the games and inspire the ‘pasty’ Scots who will be watching.

Barr’s long-term advertiser, the Edinburgh based Leith Agency who’s work includes 2006’s Christmas ad ‘Irn Bru Snowman’, created the campaign.

The ad contains dialog such as “oh proud land we may take more wee steps than giants leaps but that is what makes our mettle.

“We may reach for the stars and come up with only clouds but it is in the reaching in which we find joy.”

The Leith Agency has created campaigns for global brands such as Honda, Grolsch and Seat.
