Creative marketer George Poole has designed a CV called GP Tips that resembles a box PG Tips with a few humorous changes in order to stand out against the masses and to catch the eye of a thirsty employer.

The GP Tips box includes everything you would expect from a tea box but with an inventive marketing twist.

While the GP Tips box contains nutritional advice and brewing instructions, the GP Tips box offers “a high energy ‘drink’ that will bring you mugs full of determination and desire, offering a hearty flavour of innovation and creativity that will leave a strong hint of enthusiasm, reliability and dedication on your palate.”

Inside the box, are personalised handmade biscuits and a handful of tea bags – each with a QR tag linking back to his portfolio, to accompany the tea. Furthermore there is a covenant dictating that Poole make tea for the person who employs him - for an entire year.

On the reasoning for his zany CV packaging, Poole said “The idea behind it is so that the recruiter can chill out with a mug of tea whilst perusing through my CV – and what better way to do that than creating my own tea brand.”

Nonetheless, there are many examples of creatives working outside of the system to secure that all-important job.
