WPP hires Charles Griffin to promote live-stream Cannes panel session

Veteran Fleet Street cartoonist Charles Griffin has been recruited by global advertising giant WPP to promote its panel session being streamed live at the International Festival of Creativity, Cannes.

This will see Sir Martin Sorrell, founder and CEO of WPP share a sofa with Philippe Dauman, president and CEO of Viacom, and Twitter CEO Dick Costolo as they debate everything from the future of the industry to the overlapping relationship between TV and social.

Taking place on the 20 June the event is subject to a public vote to earn it a place on the Cannes Lions YouTube channel.
