A 14-year-old Dutch girl who tweeted American Airlines saying ‘I'm part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I'm gonna do something really big’ has been arrested, police have confirmed. The girl, who is believed to be called Sarah, tweeted the airline saying ‘hello my name's Ibrahim and I'm from Afghanistan. I'm part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I'm gonna do something really big bye’.

When American Airlines replied saying that they took such threats seriously and that her ‘IP address and details will be forwarded to security and the FBI’, the girl seemed to panic, and responded with a series of apologetic tweets saying that she was ‘too young to go to jail’, adding ‘I'm just a fangirl pls I don't have evil thoughts and plus I'm a white girl’.
Wessel Stole, an official spokesperson for the Dutch police, told Business Insider: “We're not in a state that we can communicate any state of charges at this point. We just thought it was necessary to bring this out mostly because of the fact that it caused a great deal of interest on the Internet.”The Twitter account of the user has been suspended.
