Happy birthday, mobile phone! Check out the evolution from brick to slick

Like man, the phone has evolved over the years. With the first ever phone call on a mobile made 41 years ago, on 3 April 1973, Carphone Warehouse decided to celebrate.

The mobile shop created a short ‘evolution’ video and image showing the dramatic transformation of the mobile from bulky brick to slimline smartphone.
