Steven Williams took a year to create a wedding video, featuring messages from names such as Jonathan Ross, after pleas to celebrities on Twitter to help him out.

The Welsh man set up a dedicated Twitter account to ask celebrities to help him out, and his wife Ceri was ‘absolutely stunned’ by the result.

“I tried to keep it to about three tweets a week, but I didn’t want to be overzealous. I just asked them to give me a bit of help and sent them a message to say what was going on,” Williams said.

“I put it up on Facebook and I don’t think I’ve seen anything that has been liked or commented on so much.”

The video featured comedians such as Matt Lucas and Jimmy Carr, as well as sports stars such as Wales rugby captain Sam Warburton.
