Tory MP Nick Robinson was left scrambling for the mute button on his iPad when it started blaring out Queen hit ‘Fat Bottomed Girls’ during a debate on banking bonuses.

As Labour's Caroline Flint and conservative MP Shailesh Vara battled it out on the BBC Daily Politics Show, host Andrew Neil was forced to ask "is that you. Or is that me?" when the 70s hit started playing.

"I'm going to turn it off before the really embarrassing lyrics start," said Robinson as he fumbled about to find the off switch.

Childish giggles ensued while Flint, who had been struggling to make her point, asked “Is this a conspiracy?”
