ICAP brokers donned 3D glasses, and in some cases a festive elves costume, as part of the company’s annual charity day, which took place yesterday, 3 December.

44,000 pairs of 3D glasses were sent out to the city brokers and customers to enable them to use the specially created 3D charity website.

Developed by Zone, the site offered information on what happens to the money raised – all of which was generated by commissions and revenues made from that day’s trades – and allowed people to send personalised 3D messages to loved ones.

The event saw the likes of Cheryl Cole and JLS getting involved to help eventually raise £9.5m.
