CM Porter Novelli rebrands as Porter Mo-velli to support Movember

Edinburgh-based PR agency CM Porter Novelli has joined forces with its Australian counterpart to take part in this month’s Movember challenge, rebranding its Twitter feed and Facebook account to Porter Mo-velli.

The new logo, designed by Porter Novelli in Australia, will now feature on the agency’s social media accounts with Craig MacLellan, the only male member of staff at the Edinburgh office, retiring his razor for the next 30 days.

Of the Movember challenge, MacLellan told The Drum: "I’m taking part in Movember as it is a fantastic way of getting both guys and girls taking about men’s health issues. Testicular cancer, prostate cancer and mental health issues affect thousands of men every year, but due to our supposed macho attitude to these issues, we don’t openly discuss our health or how we are feeling.

"Hopefully my upper lip hair will encourage people to start a conversation about these issues and encourage them to take action before it’s too late."

MacLellan’s ‘tache efforts will be documented on both Twitter and Facebook with a blog on the Porter Mo-velli site.
