Is nothing sacred? Peppa Pig becomes latest hack victim
Children's favourite Peppa Pig has become the latest, and possibly unlikliest, hack victim of the year with an attack flooding its Facebook page with racist and sexist comments.
Peppa Pig, George Pig, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig were all targeted in the shock incident which, frankly, left us all questioning if nothing is off hacking limits.
A spokeswoman for Peppa Pig World - the Hampshire theme park inspired by the character and host of the Facebook page under attack - said the unknownd hacker had taken complete control of the page and staff were therefore unable to do anything about it.
A statement on the Official Peppa Pig World Facebook page said: "Unfortunately the Peppa Pig World Facebook page has been compromised. We are looking into the situation asap, please accept our apologies for any inconvencience caused. Many Thanks, The Peppa Team."
Poor Peppa.
