First there was Australia and its best job in the world offer, then First Choice appealed for a slide tester and now a Finnish hotel has mounted a recruitment campaign for a ‘professional sleeper’ to test out its rooms.

The Helsinki-based hotel is searching for a “dynamic person to write a quality blog” about their accommodation and services.

Being good at sleeping isn’t the only requirement though as the successful applicant also needs to be able to speak English, Finnish and possibly Russian.

Speaking via their blog the hotel states: “In the near future we will accommodate a person to live 35 days in 35 different rooms in the heart of Helsinki at Hotel Finn.

"This person will share his/her thoughts, adventures and experiences of living in the best spot of summery Helsinki. So, prepare yourself for a blog journey that you've never read before."
