Domino’s Japan CEO, Scott K. Oelkers, has appeared in strange advert promoting its new augmented reality app.

Domino’s pizza recently teamed up with Hatsune Miku - ‘a singing synthesizer application with a humanoid persona’ - to create an app for the Japanese market.

The two minute ad jumps from an enthusiastic Oelkers to clips of the Domino’s Japan team creating the app.

Oelkers says: “From the menu to the order, it looks very cute. Just like Miku.”

The same CEO made a name for himself after announcing detailed plans to open a Domino’s franchise on the moon.
