The Black List – D&AD New Blood Pencil winning work for Penguin

The Black List reframes reading as an illicit activity in order to engage GCSE students, whilst also lobbying the government to change the curriculum. This idea is like a brick through your window. I love words, images and ideas of all kinds (simple, complex, long, horrifying). I'm getting pretty good at generating my own ideas. I've been doing it for a few years now. Some of my ideas are a gentle summer breeze and some of my ideas are lightning hitting your umbrella. Some of my favourite words include tartan, velveteen and whimper. Some of my favourite images include Monet's Water Lilies and my mother's face. Some of my favourite ideas include the welfare system, tinned foods and the concept of peace. Please give me a job.
