My honors project explored how human centric design could be applied to a digital application to enhance and support the post-natal journey. Through surveys, UX workshops held with parents, development and user testing, Parent + was born. This mobile app design encapsulates many of the wants outlined by parents during the research stage of this project tackling issues of task management, motivation and peer support. Catriona McDuff

I’m a passionate graphic designer and have just completed my study of BSc Digital Design at Glasgow Caledonian University. Prior to this I completed my HND in Visual Communication at City of Glasgow College. My experience at these institutions has built my confidence and allowed me to develop my professional design and communication skills. Through my studies I’ve developed a particular interest in UX UI, brand identity and motion design and have had experience working on a range of projects in these areas which has allowed me to hone the skills need to progress to a career in graphic design.
