Technical marketing agency Yard celebrates one year partnership with local charity Big Hearts.

Recently we marked the end of the first year of a successful digital partnership with Edinburgh based charity Big Hearts

12 months ago, the charity was working with an outdated website that suffered from a lack of ability to collect data and to engage with its stakeholders. By the end of 2015 Yard and Big Hearts had developed a brand new website for the charity, which would encourage Hearts fans and supporters to volunteer their time and effort rather than their money to support the valuable work that the charity does.

Big Hearts now has a responsive website that enables the charity to share their latest news, programme updates and volunteering opportunities. Other fantastic results to date include nearly 1,200 supporters signing up to website, with nearly 100 of those supporters actively volunteering for the charity.

Yard also implemented an email system which enables Big Hearts supporters to receive current updates straight to their inbox, to date the newsletters have an average open rate of 52.91% which is well above the industry standard.
