TRO and Fuse deliver epic fan experiences for Just Eat at football event across Europe

The challenge:
Just Eat Takeaway.com committed to a four-year partnership with UEFA to support football across all age groups and genders, right up until 2025, in one of the most extensive partnerships in the history of UEFA.
TRO and Fuse were challenged to enhance the all-important pre-match rituals ahead of the biggest games by creating a fun and accessible fan experience at the UEFA Europa League Final Fan Festival in Seville and at the UEFA Women’s EURO Fan Party in London.
The solution:
With Just Eat Takeaway.com being one of the world’s largest food delivery services, our experiential concept was centred around the home. We wanted to utilise their trademark orange colour and recognisable logo to ensure the stand stood out amongst all of the other sponsors and partners on site. Therefore, we created ‘Just Eat House’ – the ultimate home away from home.
Just Eat House boasted a fun and colourful interior using neon signs and lights, football pitch markings, football memorabilia, playful props (including giant food cushions) and other takeaway themed decorations to really showcase Just Eat’s playful nature.
Our highly Instagrammable space was very much geared towards social sharing. From the eye-catching orange football boot insta-lation, to the Just Eat bathtub which was filled with branded footballs, we designed and produced the perfect home-themed backdrops for social sharing. In addition, we kept fans entertained through surprise performances including football freestylers, dancers, pizza jugglers and BMX stunt artists, and playful activities such as our Sofa Striker GIF mechanic and Delivery Decider game.
Not only did we help Just Eat put their stamp on some of the biggest football events taking place this year, but we also created a stand-out experiential concept that showcased them as a fan champion – all whilst smashing our KPI’s too!
