Life as a parent can be pretty hectic and finding time to enjoy those precious moments with little ones is hard, but Britax Römer is here to help.

From 15th September – 15th November 2018, Britax Römer, the leader in car seat safety, is offering its customers a free £30 Britax Römer Mastercard® with every i-Size car seat purchased in-store or online at Mothercare. The card can be spent on a whole host of family days out across the UK, helping them to make the most of their special quality time together. Whether it’s paying for the family visit to a zoo, or fuel for the journey, the card can be used anywhere that accepts Mastercard®.

i-Size is the latest European-wide car seat regulation and the first phase of the R129 legislation, which aims to make car seats safer for children. It has been designed to provide additional protection for children, including increased support for the child's head and neck and better protection in the event of both frontal and side-impact.

i-Size also helps parents choose the right seat more easily by classifying seats by the child's length/height rather than weight. It can be used in most cars that have ISOFIX fittings, which have been standard in the majority of cars since 2007, and makes the seat easier to install correctly. The legislation also states that the child must travel rearward-facing for a minimum of 15 months old.

The entire Britax Römer i-Size range is designed with the brand’s renowned crash testing capabilities and all car seats adhere to the ECE R129 regulation, as well as the company’s stricter, internal safety standards. The range is Made in Germany – including engineering, crash testing and manufacturing, while its fabrics and covers are Made in Europe.

The seat provides safety and comfort for newborns up to 15 months, adjusting and protecting the child as he or she develops and grows to 83 cm in height.

BABY-SAFE i-SIZE with FLEX BASE (Birth – 15 months | 40 - 83 cm | 0 - 13 kg) RRP: £345

Thanks to Britax Römer’s BABY-SAFE i-Size with FLEX BASE, parents can achieve safe and easy installation every time. The FLEX BASE includes handy indicators to show that the infant carrier has been correctly installed onto the base and also allows parents to adjust the base angle, providing an ergonomic, flatter lying position for the baby, keeping them comfortable and safe at all times.

DUALFIX i-SIZE (Birth – 4 years | 40 - 105 cm | 0 - 18 kg) RRP: £430

DUALFIX i-SIZE is the most flexible option for a child – from birth to 4 years (105 cm). The seat has 360 degree rotation and offers ultimate comfort for parents and children and can be used rearward facing as well as forward facing. Plus, thanks to the lateral rotation to the open car door, placing and harnessing a child has never been easier. DUALFIX M i-SIZE (3 months - 4 years | 61 - 105 cm | 18 kg) RRP: £350

The DUALFIX M i-SIZE is a flexible follow on seat to any infant carrier – suitable for children from 61 to 105 cm tall. Thanks to the 360 degree rotation, the seat can be used rearward and forward facing. Plus, the seat can be turned 90 degrees to the open car door, so that placing and harnessing the child is easier than ever. TRIFIX2 i-SIZE (15 months - 4 years | 76 - 105 cm | 9 - 22 kg) RRP: £250

Customer journey

•Customers need to purchase a Britax promotional product from Mothercare stores or Mothercare online during the promotional period (15th September 2018 – 15th November 2018) and will be directed to the promotional website (

•From 15th September 2018, customers can visit the promotional website and enter their details to be eligible for a prepaid Mastercard. Customers must redeem their Mastercard within 30 days of the purchase date shown on the receipt, the last claim date is the 15th December 2018.

•Valid customers who have completed the form will receive an email within five working days to confirm their card is on its way and will be received within seven working days from receipt of the email. Once activated, customers will have six months to spend funds on the card.
