As some sections of the UK economy return to work following two months of coronavirus lockdown, The Think Tank presented our client, Oscar Acoustics, as a key voice from the construction industry as much of it restarts.

In particular, the campaign focused on how prepared construction workers are to return to sites and Oscar Acoustics' approach to getting its workers back on site. The coverage we generated included a thought leadership piece in Housing Today, alongside news-jacking comment in The Telegraph and The Guardian.

The coverage in The Guardian and The Telegraph also generated interest from other media outlets. Most notably, a BBC Radio 4 Today Show producer got in direct contact with Ben Hancock, Managing Director of Oscar Acoustics to request an interview.

The result was an interview with BBC Radio 4’s Martha Kearney, alongside Dame Judith Hackitt, Chair of Make UK: The Manufacturing Organisation & former Chief Executive of the HSE, on the subject of construction and manufacturing industries returning to work safely during Covid-19 — exposing Oscar Acoustics to an audience of some 11M.
