Air Charter Services (ACS) - Maximise Visibility

Brand Summary:

Air Charter Service (ACS) is an aircraft charter provider with 23 offices around the world spanning all six major continents. Air Charter Service does not own any aircraft, but arranges helicopter, private jet, commercial airline and cargo aircraft charters. Additional services include On Board Couriers, Aircraft Sales, and Air Evacuation Plans.

Objective:

As a niche marketing British company facing extreme levels of competition with major US and international brands, ACS wanted to maximise visibility, rank for the best-converting keywords and cut PPC spend, especially with CPCs in the $20 plus range. Additionally, they were keen to occupy Position Zero for the best market terms, with an eye towards dominating the Voice Search market in the US.

Strategy:

TMI’s approach was content based, building a keyword set targeted on user intention and phrases for high conversion, centred around general interest in executive lifestyles and exclusive travel. The focus was on answering questions that people ask via search engines, in a fact-packed, interest-peaking, unique and entertaining ways, and to raise awareness of the content by quality outreach and link-building..

Implementation:

1. Getting the subject right - TMI went back to first principles on ideation, localisation for in-country and global audiences and a deep-dive research into competitors, to create a content-gap analysis, identifying opportunities for conversion. This was then passed before a sample audience to determine user intent.

2. Getting the delivery right – We engaged writers who knew their subject to the next level to create the on-site content and several outreach articles and a created a database of blue-ribbon potential outreach prospects firm rooted in the subject matter. The result was an engaging, informative and entertaining article, promoted by links from engaging, informative and entertaining websites.

Results:

Within 5 months, the URL was a featured snippet for 17 keywords, out of a total 1,278 ranked keywords on Google US.

The article achieved top 3 positions on Google US for 206 keywords

The article appeared on the first page of Google US for 317 keywords
