Tangent’s Technical Director, Andy Eva-Dale has been confirmed as a speaker at Umbraco’s official conference, Codegarden

The conference will be hybrid for the first time, taking place in Odense, Denmark, alongside a virtual experience. This year’s event will run from 15th-17th June and expects to attract hundreds of developers, project managers, creatives, and business owners.

Umbraco is an open-source content management system, often dubbed “the friendly CMS”. For almost a decade, hundreds of digital professionals have flocked to Odense for their annual conference for 3 days of talks and discussions on all things Umbraco, Business, Cloud, Community and Partnership.

Andy Eva-Dale has been Technical Director at Tangent for over 4 years, heading up a 43-strong team of technical architects, frontend and backends developers, quality assurance analysts and operational IT engineers. He is also responsible for maintaining Tangent’s status as an Umbraco Gold Partner by ensuring the agency delivers best-in-class implementations of the platform for its clients.

He will lead a session on Thursday 16th June at 9am CET on ‘Umbraco Heartcore & JAMstack: Designing for Scale & Performance’, exploring how Tangent has integrated Umbraco Heartcore and JAMstack architecture using Next.JS and Azure PaaS to create applications that successfully deal with extremely high levels of traffic. He will also be taking part in an ‘Ask the Speakers’ session at 10am CET that same day, giving attendees the chance to ask the speakers from that morning any questions about their presentations.

“I’m a huge fan of Umbraco and been working with it since 4.x (the xslt days). I have always wanted to speak at Codegarden and it’s an honour to be able to this year! I’m sure it will be a great opportunity to network with other people in the industry and share tips and tricks.”
