The UK’s Most Loved Eating Out Brands 2022

McDonald’s, Greggs, and Nando’s have topped the charts as the most loved eating out brands in the UK, according to a new study of 96,000 consumers from Savanta’s BrandVue Eating Out.

Each year Savanta’s Most Loved Eating Out Brands report shines a light on the brands that are capturing the hearts of UK diners.

The research, which rates the Top 100 Eating Out Brands according to how loved they are, includes performance rankings from across all major categories:

· Quick service restaurants

· Coffee shops & cafés

· Fast casual

· Pubs & bars

· Restaurants

As well as revealing the UK’s Most Loved brands within the eating out sector, the report looks at the rise of plant-based dining out and the post-pandemic growth of the grab-and-go sector.

It also touches upon the UK’s love for comfort food, and how the cost-of-living crisis is affecting consumers’ choices of where to eat out (or order in). Furthermore, the research drills into what it means for a customer to be ‘in love’ with a brand and offers analysis on where the eating out sector is heading.
