Recently, our PR team picked up a Gold and Silver at the 2018 Cymru Wales Pride Awards; just reward for what has been a truly incredible year for the department
We scooped Gold in the Arts, Culture or Sport Campaign category for our work entitled: Helping Pride Cymru Take the Rainbow to Wales. As a modern, forward-thinking, diverse ad agency, we were delighted when Pride Cymru asked us to oversee the PR elements of their 2017 festival.
From creating pre-event promotional material to social media buzz to securing positive press coverage; we concentrated on securing and managing press placement during the course of the event for live and post-event coverage, gathering content during the course of the weekend and live-engagement with users, with the aim of promoting event success.
Our strategy spoke for itself, as S3 secured a record-breaking 123 pieces of PR coverage (+146% on target), a 27% increase in Google searches for Pride Cymru (vs. 2016) and an incredible 28,000 attendees on the Saturday (+55% vs. 2016).
Our Silver came in the Consumer Relations Campaign category for Bounce Foods Ltd. Following a successful stint working together on social media during 2017, Bounce briefed us to deliver their social and PR activity throughout Jan-May 2018.
Employing a strategy that tied once separate PR and social media activity strands together, we went to work on an activation plan that worked alongside Bounce’s central marketing activity; feeding out across all core channels, strengthening brand with consistent messaging as a result.
Of these activations, our bold, disruptive work for the brand during London Fashion Week truly turned heads, promoting the brand’s mainstream credentials in the process.
