Brief:

For Martin McDonagh’s critically acclaimed drama about the story of an unsolved murder, we were tasked with creating a master toolkit of media, including animated HTML5 banners, video banners and website takeovers for use globally, as well as localising and creating online media for advertising placements across Europe.

Our Solution:

With so many award nominations and wins throughout the release of this title, our challenge was not only to ensure that this success was communicated in a clear and eye-catching way but also to ensure that we acted fast and efficiently post-award ceremony to showcase any award wins. We created an array of rich media ads covering websites takeovers, video billboards, and expandable assets - which could easily have messaging updated to ensure advertising media was up to date.

Results:

Using a diverse range of formats we delivered over 200 ad placements across 17 markets, successfully showing the amazing success of the movie across desktop, mobile, and tablet.
