Guaranteed minimum 4% pay rise for all staff annually

by Eleanor Hanwell

September 3, 2021

PinPoint Media have recently announced a guaranteed annual 4% pay rise for their team. This annual pay uplift, which will not be dependent on company performance, is due to be paid to all permanent members of staff in January each year.

According to forecasting, earnings in the United Kingdom increased by 3.1 percent in 2021 and are due to hold steady in 2022, not rising to 3.3 percent until 2023. PinPoint Media are bucking this trend by offering their guaranteed 4 percent rise. This sees the company well above the average for private businesses in the UK and far above the media industry.

The company is making this investment in their current team whilst also hiring for an additional 10 roles as part of their aggressive growth plans for 2021-22. Alongside this guaranteed annual pay rise, staff members at PinPoint Media also have access to additional monetary benefits such as referral bonuses, work anniversary bonuses, a monthly recognition scheme, company improvement scheme and end of year awards.

Other non-monetary employee benefits include bi-annual social events, quarterly incentives, and progression plans. The company is also committed to supporting staff mental health and physical health, such as training a designated Mental Health First Aider, providing fresh fruit, and offering flexible working.

Managing director for PinPoint Media Oliver Bruce said, “Money is often a topic people find hard to talk about. By laying the cards on the table and allowing transparency it allows each member of our team to personally plan financially each year.”

Longest serving employee at PinPoint Media and lead editor Kristen Muñoz said, “When I joined PinPoint Media 5 years ago we were still quite small. It’s fantastic that now we are growing, the hard work the team puts in is able to be recognised with benefits like this. It shows how much Oliver appreciates everyone in the company.”

Founded by entrepreneur Oliver Bruce in 2013, PinPoint Media’s ‘data-led creative’ approach has enabled the business to innovate and drive valued content to their clients.

Harnessing voice, video, VR, AR, animation and strategy PinPoint Media are at the forefront of what they’ve coined the ‘new world content agency’
