Opera Mediaworks expands EMEA video team as it readies for sales growth

Opera Mediaworks, the world’s largest independent mobile ad platform, is expanding its EMEA video division to prepare for a significant growth in video this year

Mobile video is the fastest growing segment in digital advertising and will account for 69% of total mobile ad traffic, according to Cisco’s Visual Networking Index. In response, the company has hired Robert Cootes, Commercial Director of Video, to oversee the video division.

Robert joins from Brightroll where he was Director of Sales for EMEA and is tasked with developing programmatic implementation strategies for customers as well as increasing international video sales. His team spans Germany, Russia, UK and South Africa.
