Innovative, beautifully designed app product to reduce customer service costs

CHALLENGE

Rapidly turn OVO Energy’s old and poorly reviewed PhoneGap mobile app into something befitting of their customer service excellence and new brand identity, reducing customer service costs and increasing ROI.

SOLUTION

From first meeting to MVP launch in under 90 days, we transformed the mobile app into a satisfying customer experience. With the new app, customers can view more valuable data at a glance, submit meter readings (and use the torch to light the way), view transactions and download statements. In short, they’re empowered to make better decisions about their mobile usage and their need for direct customer service is greatly reduced.

IMPACT

Following the November 2014 launch of the Android beta, and the January 2015 iOS launch we’re moving forward with an impressive product roadmap. Reviews are 4* and the App was named an Icon by Wired Magazine. The Watch app was recently launched to glowing reviews.
