Agency Vet Tony George Will Help the Agency Scale Operations and Client Relationships

Denver-based LRXD, the Health and Happiness Advertising Agency, has brought on agency veteran Tony George as its new Chief Operating Officer.

George, who started at the 40-person agency on Sept. 16, will have oversight over agency profitability and financials, expansion, internal efficiency, culture, team structure, and strategic planning and execution.

He joins the agency at a time of tremendous growth and will help scale its operations and client relationships, according to Kelly Reedy, LRXD’s CEO and Chief Creative Officer.

"Over the last decade, LRXD has rapidly grown to become a highly respected agency,” Reedy said. “We needed a strong business leader at the helm so we could continue to exceed our clients’ and employees’ expectations and live our company mission. Tony is that leader.”

George’s career has been focused on helping businesses to streamline operations, accelerate their growth, and build vibrant cultures, and he’s worked with clients including Disney, Fox, New Belgium Brewing, University of Colorado, Sony, Fetzer Vineyards, Warner Brothers, Activision, Epic Games, and USA Networks. A self-proclaimed “Swiss Army knife,” he’s worked across sales and business development, finance, people operations, marketing, and other functions in the course of his career.

Prior to joining LRXD, he was Managing Director of Vermilion Design + Digital, a Boulder, Colo.-based agency specialized in helping purpose-driven organizations tell their stories. Before that, he was based in Los Angeles as Managing Director at Ludomade and VP-Strategic Development at Soap Creative – both digital creative agencies.

He has an undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA from Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles. He started his career in the music business in Los Angeles before switching to creative agencies, and he currently lives in Boulder with his wife and 4-year-old daughter.

George gravitated to LRXD because of its purpose of health and happiness.

“It’s a mission that I can believe in,” he said. “There’s so much potential for where we can go, and I don’t see what can stop us.”
