XP21 medical supplies channel selects Kitty to launch first B2C ecommerce site
7 September 2020 17:00pm
‘XP21’, an innovative new B2C online store for personal protective equipment and medical supplies, appointed Kitty to design an ecommerce solution to sell their products to this developing market.
Excalibur Healthcare Services, the parent company of XP21, needed a high-end commerce solution, with a clean user experience at the core of the design of the site. Working hand in hand with the client, Kitty built an SEO optimised, fully featured BigCommerce solution in line with XP21’s marketing goals. Guided by Kitty, XP21 decided to leverage BigCommerce Enterprise functionality to serve their needs now and in the future.
Professor Sir Chris Evans, founder and CEO of Excalibur Healthcare Services and XP21, explains, “As consumers look to source high quality PPE, we wanted to take the product to market quickly to ensure that the public have access to the equipment they need to stay safe. It has been great to work on the project with Kitty since its conception as they ensured we built the product with customer experience and long-term marketing requirements at the forefront.”
Rob Knight, Managing Director at Kitty, added: “We’re finding ourselves working on more and more ecommerce builds since the pandemic as brands shift towards B2C strategies. It’s been really interesting to work with Excalibur Healthcare Services and XP21 to build a top-class design for their first ecommerce site which includes UX features such as marked product recommendations, customer personalisation in order to reflect an experience you might find on other high end ecommerce sites.”
Excalibur Healthcare Services new site went live on 17 August 2020
