Facebook Beach: Cannes 2019

At this year's Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Jack Morton designed, created and executed a series of state-of-the-art experiences at the show for Facebook helping the brand demonstrate the best of its platform while enforcing its commitment to community and creativity. The public experiences were housed on Facebook Beach at the Hotel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes.

Jack’s goal in creating the work was to ensure the space was inviting, designed as an open and inclusive atmosphere. Colorful gradient arches and comfortable, open-seating plans permeate the area. A design aesthetic of simplicity, elegance and continuity is exemplified through the use of materials that complement the light and airy space. Jack Morton worked with other agency partners and the brand on specific installations and programming at the beach and on all ancillary events for the brand.
