BWS The Cool Room

Trips to the bottle shop aren’t as exciting as the party’s people attend after. So, retail store chain BWS (Beer Wine and Spirits) partnered with Spotify to give Australians a more exciting customer experience and reimagine the bottle shop experience forever.

Introducing, The Cool Room, Australia’s first concert inside a cool room.

We transformed a walk-in fridge space into an intimate intimate live music stage to create an unforgettable world first experience for BWS’ customers and fans. It was a consumer brand experience paired with audio-visual content experience to engage consumers beyond the moment.

We captured the artists live performances without an audience first to bring online viewers on the journey too. We created content of the live performances, hosted interviews, still photography and made a wrap video to tie it all together.

We amplified the event in the lead up to support the competition attendees needed to win. We curated and managed relevant influencers to amplifying the event in real time. We built media hype leading up to the event promoting the competition and event, and created a media and social buzz throughout and post event.

Impact

The end result was an experience TOO COOL not to share generating 1,145,376 Earned Media Reach, 234,000 Influencer Engagements and 100% Positive Sentiment. “The idea of a concert in a Cool Room is genius!”
