At the recently concluded, State of Programmatic Summit, Sudhanshu Saxena, Director, DSP and Supply Partnerships at InMobi was in conversation with leaders from Southeast Asia’s most promising OTT Apps

Joined by Andy Sun, GM, International Programmatic, Advertising Business, iQIYI, Arianne Kader-Cu, Country Head, VIU Philippines, and Emily Huong, Head of Sales, FPT Play, they discussed the rapid growth of OTT seen in the region.

Last year, InMobi saw a 286% jump in OTT usage immediately after the pandemic. In fact, Southeast Asians streamed over 650+ billion minutes of streaming content on their mobile devices in a single quarter as per a recent report from Media Partners Asia. Andy, Arianne, and Emily shared their thoughts on the permanent change in behaviour they’ve seen over the past year including the emergence of online streaming communities, the importance of localised content, and how they plan to collaborate with advertisers to offer immersive experiences to users by leveraging the power of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
