iCrossing win gold at IPM Awards with reed.co.uk

Digital marketing agency, iCrossing, is very proud to announce success at last night’s IPM Awards, taking home the gold in the financial and professional services category for their reed.co.uk YouTube Trueview campaign.

The focus for the award-winning campaign with reed.co.uk was to raise brand awareness and drive traffic to their employment website. The agency created a web-only video featuring the reed.co.uk Super Commander ordering people to ‘stop watching cats and find a new job’. In just one month, the video clocked up some 1.5 million views and increased traffic to the site by over 13%.

It also smashed YouTube records, achieving the highest click through rate ever in the UK at 3.6% – nothing like a few fluffy kittens to grab people’s attention! In fact, the campaign was so effective, that Jamie Bodkin, Head of Digital Marketing at reed.co.uk had this to say about it:

“The campaign has fundamentally changed the way that reed.co.uk views brand advertising in general, and that primarily has to do with the fact that the results from this have been way over and above our expectations.”
