iCrossing pledge to end workplace mental health discrimination

London, 27th November, 2014. Digital marketing agency, iCrossing, today announces their Time to Change pledge, aimed at eliminating mental health discrimination in the workplace.

Time to Change is an anti-stigma campaign run by leading mental health charities, Mind and Rethink Mental Illness. The two charities have come together to combine their knowledge, skills and expertise in England's most ambitious programme to end the discrimination faced by people with mental health problems, and improve the nation's wellbeing.

Since its launch in 2007, Time to Change has reached millions of people across England to begin to improve public attitudes towards people with mental health problems. iCrossing have been strong advocates of promoting staff wellbeing and a healthy workplace but the pledge marks the first formal statement of their actions to support mental health.

iCrossing’s Chief Talent Officer, Rachel Collier says ‘By taking the pledge we are actively promoting a non-discriminatory work culture which supports the mental wellbeing of everyone who works here. We have always sponsored and promoted health and wellbeing, through specific initiatives and our benefits package. Our pledge represents our commitment to continue supporting our staff and join the Time to Change team to help eliminate discrimination around mental illness in the workplace, and wider afield.’
