It’s been a bumper summer here at Hydra

Since moving into our new HQ earlier this year, we've grown from strength to strength. We’re thrilled that a string of new clients have chosen to work with us, including Cyberselves, UK Trailer Parts, VidLearn and PowerControl. And we’ve welcomed four new faces to the Hydra family; Ruth joins as our Senior Account Manager, Sophie is our newest Graphic Designer and joining the marketing team we have Marketing Executive Melanie and Marketing Apprentice Byron.

Back in July, we held a digital marketing workshop at the AMP Technology Centre. Our two-hour masterclass was specifically tailored the engineering manufacturing sector, explaining how to understand key metrics in order to measure their marketing efforts. The workshop proved a great success and we were blown away with the feedback we received. If you missed out, don’t worry, you can still get hold of our Measuring Marketing Campaign Effectiveness white paper here.

We’ve been fortunate enough to work on some fantastic projects too, including a new video showcasing Meadowhead School’s Sixth Form centre, a sophisticated brochure for TDL Equipment and a popular website for the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

Never wishing to stand still, we’ve taken time over the summer to keep learning and developing. We have attend various industry events such as Search Leeds and we’ve been polishing up on our skills too with Google’s Digital Garage courses and Advanced Adobe training with our friends at Creative Frontiers.

But it’s not all been hard work, we’ve had plenty of fun along the way too. From lunchtime ping-pong, to music festivals and lots (and lots) of yummy food with our regular themed buffets, team meals out and tea and cake to celebrate Yorkshire day.

So while we’re sad to say goodbye to this fantastic summer, we’re excited to see what the rest of the year brings. To keep up to date with all the latest goings on here at Hydra, give our social media accounts a follow.
