Driving social media revenue for a luxury fashion brand

As the chosen partner digital marketing agency, our challenge was to generate revenue through paid social whilst concurrently building the email subscriber base to assist with securing repeat custom in the future. We were challenged with creating a unique fashion social media marketing campaign.
To help give an air of exclusivity and generate demand, we created a secret sale for customers, using heavily discounted end of line stock, that was only available via social media and when signing up for the Orla Kiely email newsletter. Social ads (Facebook and Instagram) were carefully targeted to promote the sale and a landing page was created for the email sign-ups as part of our digital fashion marketing plan.
In just the first week of the campaign, there were more than 8k new newsletter sign ups, and the revenue generated from the secret sale alone delivered a ROAS of 7, making this a highly successful campaign for both objectives and a highly effective part of our wider ecommerce marketing strategy.
