Booking.com: Click 22' Bringing the Travel Industry Back Together

The Challenge

GPJ had previously delivered Click ‘21 as a virtual event during the pandemic. In March 2022, Click ‘22 was a live event as travel restrictions were no longer in place for many people. GPJ were tasked in bringing together over 1500 of Booking.com partners, across two geographies for the first time since the global pandemic.

It was imperative to make partners feel energised, engaged, and valued by creating a live experience that inspires exchange of ideas, new perspectives and deep platform learning and position Booking.com as a leading-edge collaborator across the entire travel ecosystem.

Our Solution

Where are you going?’ was our overarching experience theme, framed to position Booking.com as a trusted partner in helping attendees achieve their objectives as the industry reopens and continuously innovates. Two events, executed in Europe & U.S, each drew upon a consistent voice and identity but distinct continental personalities. A hyper- focussed content approach for a broad spectrum of partners was also fundamental.

The Experience

Anchored around stages themed by ‘today, tomorrow & together’, attendees could explore highly curated and interactive panel discussions, executive interviews, business presentations and dynamic storytelling. Newly devised ‘learning showcases’ put one-to-one engagement in the center of the experience and a central design installation championed flagship brand stories in sustainability and inclusion, for attendees to explore.
