BATMAN RETURNS, this time in a collision with a giant OREO cookie



Last February, we launched our latest UK activation work for OREO
(Mondelēz International), part of the brand’s collaboration
with Warner Bros. Entertainment for the upcoming movie, THE BATMAN.

A limited run of Batman faced OREO biscuits rolled out to UK stores as part of the campaign.

We created a 3D Batman vs OREO OOH special build that showcased a huge 3D Batarang embedded in a billboard, slicing a giant OREO cookie in half. Designed in the same way as in the movie, creating delicious thrilling excitement around the launch of the latest Batman movie.

Lazaros Nikiforidis, Digitas UK Executive Creative Director, said: “Now there’s a tasty new addition he can have fun with OREO cookies. What better way to announce an iconic partnership between two iconic brands than by freezing the moment and showing the impact of them coming together”?

The activation went live across sites in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow for two weeks.

It is instantly recognisable and helps us drive cultural relevance and excitement while making the OREO cookie look delicious and cool.”
