MaxiNutrition - m-commerce app
MaxiNutrition are the UK’s leading sports supplement organisation with multiple brands under the Maxi umbrella. To enhance the user experience (UX) for MaxiNutrition customers, they approached Cyber-Duck to produce an application to promote their products as well as offer an ecommerce solution that works on both the latest iOS and Android operating systems.
They required the app to tie into their larger marketing strategy by being able to scan barcodes of products and link the user to a corresponding page within the app. Another concept that MaxiNutrition wanted to see integrated was the ability for the user to scan QR codes on their promotional posters and be directed to the app to download. The app was to be available in two languages, English and German, to reach their diverse target audience.
The requirements of this project were quite extensive as we had to create product pages for each individual product and provide a payment mechanism linking to a third party gateway. Furthermore, it was important that the barcode-scanning feature worked flawlessly and offered users an innovative experience.
By developing the two native apps (one for iOS and one for Android) we managed to successfully enable MaxiNutrition to pursue a fully integrated digital marketing campaign linking their digital and print campaigns together.
