by Megan Carthy

June 9, 2021

Digital acceleration agency, ClickThrough Marketing. has hired Ilona Anderson as Head of Talent Engagement, as part of the agency’s ongoing commitment to growing ambition and skill among its people.

Anderson joins ClickThrough after working in similar roles in a range of industry sectors, including retail, finance, construction & telecoms. Anderson’s most recent roles at Lookers and DFS have focuses on both employee and customer engagement, with a key focus on leadership development to drive cultural change – an area she will continue to focus in at ClickThrough.

As part of her role of Head of Talent Engagement, Anderson will be identifying innovative new ways that the agency can invest in ClickThrough employees, grow skills within the brand, and refine the way the business and leadership approach personal development. Anderson will be enhancing the business’s approach to talent, leadership, and engagement, along with developing ideas on how the agency can maintain a client centric culture while also supporting the growth of staff.

The new role has been created as part of the agency’s recognition of their people, and conscientious approach to supplying employees with what they need to thrive within their roles, therefore passing a constantly improving service onto clients.

Anderson has said, “I feel incredibly lucky to be able to work in a field that I feel genuinely passionate about. I am fascinated by people and how organisations work, and I have spent much of my career trying to understand and discover the best ways to support people and help them grow to reach their potential. ClickThrough has an amazing energy which has captivated me from day one and I’m very excited to join a leadership team who are so committed and passionate about developing talent and inspiring people to do their best work.”

Chris Roberts, Managing Director of ClickThrough Marketing said, “It’s great to welcome Ilona into the team in the newly formed role of Head of Talent Engagement. We were blown away with her background and experience in this area and believe she will be able to have a massive impact in developing our people.

The creation of this role really demonstrates our commitment to the growth of our people, we have a lot of great initiatives running but we are looking to Ilona to tie these elements together into a cohesive people strategy that will help take our people and therefore service to the next level”

The news follows ClickThrough’s new partnership with Staffordshire University on the university’s ‘Digital Innovation Partnerships’ programme – a scheme designed to improve and uplift digital innovation in businesses across Staffordshire.
