Presented by Ad Age, the leading global source of news and intelligence for the marketing and media community, the Small Agency Awards are the premier honors saluting outstanding work created by independent shops with 150 or fewer employees.

“The challenge in launching Justworks was to break through with an emotional brand story while selling a fairly complicated product,” said Camilla Velasquez, VP, Head of Product at Justworks. “Circus Maximus honed in right away on a compelling voice that allowed us to create an instant emotional connection with smart, modern customers. It was truly a collaborative partnership in arriving at all our brand work, and we're looking forward to even more great things to come as we continue to expand.”

"This recognition proves without a doubt that amazing work does not only come from large agencies, and that the caliber of creative from small shops is rising every year," said Ad Age Editor Ken Wheaton. "We had a flood of really excellent entries from many corners of the world and the judging was extremely difficult."

“I’ve worked in large agencies and won awards for big brands throughout my career, but winning a Gold Campaign of the Year for my own small agency makes this win so much sweeter,” said Ryan Kutscher, Founder of Circus Maximus.

The Small Agency Awards were presented during the annual Ad Age Small Agency Conference, which brings together hundreds of marketing, advertising, design, media, and brand professionals from around the nation to explore trends and issues impacting the nation’s small advertising agencies.
