Pink Gin finds its #WKDside

by Kyla Manenti

22 July 2019 10:31am

Consumers can’t get enough of pink gin and Ready To Drinks, with media moments like ‘Pink Gin Lady’ and MP Dianne Abbot’s train-ride mojito topping up the hype. Now WKD is putting its cheeky twist on the drink of the moment.

To launch WKD Pink Gin Flavour, the UK’s fave alcopop needed a characteristically playful campaign idea. Our irreverent spin on the #WKDside platform contrasts the serious, sometimes even pretentious side of the gin category with WKD’s fun, light-hearted, self-aware side. It’s running in trade press and social, with more consumer touchpoints to follow.

WKD Pink Gin flavour hit Londis, Onestop and Bookers in July.
