Keep the summer alive with Malibu Rum
This summer, Malibu Rum partnered up with DJ Dillon Francis to remix ‘the coconut song’. As Exposure’s UK partner, we were tasked with helping to showcase the final remix via The Hook’s website and social channels in a fun and engaging way.
Our in-house editorial team, dedicated to The Hook’s content output, worked closely with Malibu Rum to curate content for the #CoconutChallenge.
We then connected Malibu with The Hook’s highly engaged youth audience of 18-34s, by distributing this across Instagram, Facebook and The Hook’s website.
As well as this, our journalists produced an article detailing more about the Coconut Challenge, encouraging readers to get involved!
We successfully raised awareness of Malibu Rum’s campaign by editorialising content on The Hook to live on Facebook and Instagram.
We also generated an article on The Hook’s website with the curated video embedded to further increase awareness of the campaign.
The campaign reached 830k impressions and reached the partnerships goals by hitting 300k views.
