How do you get teenagers interested in becoming a chartered surveyor?

Property Needs You is a joint campaign from the UK’s leading property firm to engage and attract young people to think about a career in the property sector. With events throughout the year, Bravand was asked to build an interactive element that would get the kids finding out more.

With only three weeks until the first event, we had to get cracking. Following an intense 1.5hr scoping session, we had the basics of a simple game, designed and built for iPad. Six questions, all accessed via an animated virtual city, got kids playing with property whilst also delivering key positive messages about the career opportunities therein. A simple data collection form combined with a free prize draw brought measurability to the project.

Labelled as “the most successful campaign to date” by the brand partners, we averaged 1 email collection per minute throughout the events to date. In fact, the interactive stand campaign is now in its 3rd year and continues to generate fantastic results.

So much so that we can now call the Property Needs You Campaign and award-winner – having been awarded an Outstanding achievement award by the Interactive Media Awards in 2015 in the recruitment category. Whoop!
