Easter is the key trading period for Hotel Chocolat. Brandwidth developed a campaign that connected experience and retail to support sales of Easter eggs across their retail estate of 80 stores.
Beau Bunny, a street magician, and our team of ambassadors entertained the public with sharp tricks and scrumptious treats. A social media campaign underpinned the activity, where we asked people to guess where Beau Bunny was each day, with clues posted in-store and online to encourage footfall and web traffic.
The results speak for themselves: 66k entries to the competition, 21k people added to the database, a universal 10% increase in footfall YOY, and - the clincher - a sales uplift of between +5-15% per store, with a high of +68% for one store.
