SEO provider Blue Array named as one of the South’s most respected specialists by over 2,000 fellow agencies

One of the UK’s leading SEO agencies, Blue Array, has been named in BenchPress’s latest survey of the South’s most respected specialists. Judged by over 2,000 fellow agencies, the report celebrates excellence among SEO specialists based in the South. The report revealed that Blue Array were unusual for always being price transparent, as 44% of other marketing agencies in the South rarely reveal their day rate. And, further to this, the report also revealed that Blue Array were in the top 7-8% of the largest agencies in the South.

Since 2012, BenchPress has benchmarked agencies to take an accurate snapshot of agency life in the UK. This year’s report focused on how agencies in the southern region compare to the rest of the UK against key stats, like hourly rates, profitability, and earnings.

This exciting news follows a year of strong growth for Blue Array. Earlier this month, Blue Array won the best SEO campaign award at the prestigious EU Agency Awards for its work with retail giants Monsoon and Accessorize, reflecting the agency’s dedication to delivering exceptional results for clients and raising SEO standards across the industry.

Further headline stats within the BenchPress report revealed that Blue Array’s income is aligned to 49% of other agencies, and up to 20% of this work comes from overseas.

And, further to this, the report also highlights that Blue Array is aligned with just 20% of other southern agencies for client retained work vs project retainers. As a region, southern agencies are 91% more likely to have clients on retainers.

A further and more worrying stat states that over 45% of southern agencies have a strong reliance on a single client for up to 20% of their income, which is a real danger for many agencies. Whether this is a direct correlation with the pandemic is unknown.
