Bidstack is delighted to announce its first virtual reality partnership with Rezzil, the world’s leading platform for developing elite footballers

Bidstack is delighted to announce its first virtual reality partnership with Rezzil, the world’s leading platform for developing elite footballers. The exclusive deal will open the door for Bidstack’s advertising partners to engage their target audience via an innovative new format.

Rezzil is a virtual reality training platform designed to develop elite footballers. It was founded in 2017 and its products are built for players of all abilities, from beginners to the world’s best.

Their enterprise solution, ‘Rezzil Elite 21’ is currently utilised globally from academy level all the way through to European League level and has been used by World Cup winners from clubs and organisations such as Manchester City, LA Football Club and The French Football Federation.

Rezzil recently announced the debut of ‘Rezzil Player 21’ a consumer version of their product that offers ‘finishing drills’ and is available for free on Steam. It is built with the same pro-level VR technology and is compatible with Valve Index and HTC Vive headsets.

The addition of both ‘Rezzil Player 21’ and ‘Rezzil Elite 21’ to Bidstack’s growing portfolio of football titles offers their agency and brand partners a unique opportunity to reach gamers as well as football superstars in a virtual reality environment. This will be possible through 3D product mapping for Rezzil’s in-game store as well as on their virtual training grounds via in-game billboards.

Virtual reality is an emerging market within gaming and is projected to exceed $40bn by 2025, growing at a CAGR of 32.7%. Nvidia has forecast that VR headset usage will grow to 50m by 2021 with this rise in demand fueled by developing markets and the wider adoption of VR technology from a growing audience that are seeking new, immersive experiences.

This partnership will be Bidstack’s first with a virtual reality developer and demonstrates the flexibility and adaptability of their technology.

James Freestone, mobile partnerships manager at Bidstack said “Rezzil is pioneering the boundaries of virtual reality gaming with the launch of its title on multiple platforms. Bidstack is delighted that they have chosen our platform to allow advertisers to reach and engage their attractive audience like never before with brands that fit seamlessly into their football training environments. Virtual Reality is an emerging space and Bidstack is positioned perfectly to capture the growth of this market across all platforms and devices.”

Rezzil’s technical director, Gareth Thatcher said “We are excited to partner with Bidstack on the launch of ‘Rezzil Player 21’ and ‘Rezzil Elite 21’. Football is the biggest selling sports genre in the gaming segment. Our virtual reality training experience will appeal to the same global audience of football fans and players. Bidstack’s technology and turnkey solution will open up an incremental revenue stream to supplement our freemium model.”
