Anything is Possible adds head of broadcast to recent hires

by Rob Keery

January 28, 2021

Today we are delighted to announce the hire of Mihir Haria-Shah as its first ever head of broadcast. The new role will align Anything is Possible’s broadcast and outdoor strategy with our restlessly innovative offerings in digital media, creative and technology.

Mihir joins Anything is Possible from behavioural planning agency, Total Media, where he was head of broadcast. At Total Media, Mihir was at the forefront of innovation in the broadcast space, executing media first strategies for Youngs on TV and Zoflora on OOH and Audio. In 2019 Mihir was named Rising Star of the Year at the Media Week Awards and featured in Campaign’s 30 under 30 list. He is a regular commentator in the media on the future of TV and CTV.

At Anything is Possible, Mihir will develop creative media strategies in alliance with evolving technology, showing brands the game-changing options for connecting with their audiences where they are now - via TV, CTV, audio, cinema, VOD and OOH.

Mihir is also a leading activist and media commentator on the topics of diversity and inclusion in the advertising industry, including mentoring for Media for All, a platform that helps BAME talent thrive within the media and advertising industries. He was shortlisted for the IPA’s iList for those championing inclusion in the advertising industry and for the Champion for Change/Industry Influencer award at the Oystercatcher Awards in 2020.

Mihir’s hire further bolsters the team at Anything is Possible. We bucked the trends to double revenue in 2020, whilst also tripling the size of its team and opening a second London office to support its Brighton HQ.

Other recent hires to our team of Possiblists include:

• Former BBH Global Exec Andy McLane as creative director

• The Green Party's ex Head of Digital Lee Davies in at tech lead

• Ex-Saatchi & Saatchi Hollie Forsyth as head of production

Anna Beynon, formerly of Manning Gottlieb OMD, as business director.

“Anything is Possible has been on an incredible growth trajectory over the past year and today’s announcement marks another key milestone for us. The broadcast media landscape is rapidly evolving and agencies need to do better in communicating the opportunities of this new terrain. Mihir’s knowledge and drive positions us at the forefront of innovation and will enable us to push the limits of what is possible for clients.”

~Sam Fenton-Elstone, CEO at Anything is Possible

“Media, and especially the broadcast platforms, are undergoing an incredibly exciting period of innovation, with new technology rapidly blurring the lines between digital and traditional. I was drawn to Anything is Possible because Sam and the team have created an incredible culture of innovation and learning. There’s a huge opportunity to get ahead on new broadcast offerings and bring our clients campaigns they didn’t think were possible.”

~Mihir Mihir Haria-Shah, Anything is Possible's new head of broadcast
