For TV in 2015 and, it seems, moving forward, the more things change the more they stay the same.

There are more content and entertainment options and devices than ever before, and not only do people still watch five and a half hours of video each day, they are consuming this content mainly on actual TVs.

And because there is so much more out there competing for your attention, I’ll keep this short: over the next three weeks, we’ll hear from the companies that are truly innovating in the space and learn what they thought about the year that was and what 2016 holds in store.

The companies are diverse: TubeMogul is the leading demand side platform in the programmatic TV space; Comcast has thrived as an MVPD because of how its innovated with its video on demand product; Peel is behind the leading smart remote technology; Sling TV launched this year to help consumers “Take Back TV” with pared down skinny bundles.

These are just some of the fantastic participants we have lined up, but how they're innovating is indicative of the ways in which TV is changing.
